About This Site & Template

Around sometime in the Winter of 2005, I by chance selected a book to start reading from my shelf. I was seeking a large book, something that would be not just a simple read-through, but would take some actual labour to complete. I picked up Rousseau's 'Confessions', and since have been an avid reader of this man's work and ideas.

This template is an attempt to display the greatness of simplicity. Not jumbled by content, this site is easy and quick to understand and navigate. The color palet of maroon, beige, and white, is meant to simulate the feel of the Oxford edition of Rousseau's Confessions.

The content of the sections I have included are in bulk from other sources. Most of the bibliography comes from 1800's Bibliography, while the biography can be found on Wikipedia's entry for Rousseau.
